Payments
For Debtors whose only income is from self-employment
Please see the payments tab on this website. If a Debtor does not wish to pay online, certified funds should be submitted to the lockbox each month. The certified funds should be made out to Deborah B. Langehennig, PO Box 298, Memphis, TN 38101-0298. The Debtor should put their last name and Ch. 13 case number on the cashier’s check or money order.
The Trustee has partnered with TFS to process electronic payments for Debtors whose only income is from self- employment and allows for self-employed Debtors to automate their Chapter 13 plan payments online.
Please Note:
If you have an employer, you must have a pay order in place. You are not eligible for TFS.
Personal online bill pay checks are not accepted. You may use the Trustee’s approved TFS system if eligible. Contact your attorney.

For Debtors who are employed
Pay orders should be submitted to the Court promptly after the filing of the petition, as soon as the Judge is assigned (Local Rule 3015-1 (d)). A pay order is when your employer deducts your Chapter 13 plan payment from your paycheck. If the wage income is not sufficient to support the full plan payment, the pay order should be submitted for the maximum amount available. The remaining balance of the plan payment may be made by certified funds or by TFS bill pay.
If an employer would like to submit payments electronically, Debtors should contact their attorney for assistance with TFS eWage. For information regarding TFS eWage, please click here
